OU: 其实这段录音可以说是一个用来“自慰”的东西(这种不用外接的东西我也很想说是调音台在自慰)。这是开始,也可以说是为我自己想要表达的东西定下了一个基调,一种高度个人化的行为,是幻想,也带着一种不确定的尝试。至于后面的能表达出自己想要表达的,记录下,怎么说呢,一个回忆性的瞬间,能满足我自己的幻想,足够了。所以这段声音就产生出了一个没有形状的东西,一个不定形的水下生物,她像人,像动物,像变形虫,好了,这个东西我把它叫做不定形水生物,它存在吗?存在,这段录音记录的就是水下探测器搜集到的信息。
ZHU: 不好意思,我有点没太看明白。这段录音是用水下探测器录的吗?它是在水下录的吗(因为听上去好像不太像“水”)?或者说,它是在怎样的环境里录的?你后来有做电脑的调变,或者是串接效果器吗?
OU: 这是在调音台上串接效果器录制出来的声音。像是装了氧气泵的鱼缸,持续的底噪就是我的“探测器”,当然可以说我也是那个“探测器”的一部分,因为那个底噪对于我来说是安全的,而另一个声音则成为“它”某个器官的吐息,延迟的调整。

OU: 我目前大部分时候是在西安。大概一两年前吧,我总是把效果器放在调音台的反馈链里,平时也就一个人的时候戴着耳机用它们自娱自乐。我不愿意留下联系方式。

OU: Actually, this recording can be said to be used to "masturbate" (this kind of thing that doesn't need an external connection, I would also like to say that the mixer is masturbating). This is the beginning. It can also be said to have set a tone for what I want to express. It is a highly personal behavior, an illusion and an uncertain attempt. As for the latter to express what I want to express, record it, how can I say it, a reminiscence moment can satisfy my own fantasy, it is enough. So this sound produced a shapeless thing, an amorphous underwater creature, she looks like a human, like an animal, like an amoeba, well, I call this thing an amorphous water creature, does it exist? ? Exist, this recording records the information collected by underwater probes.
ZHU: Sorry, I didn't understand it a bit. Was this recording recorded with an underwater detector? Was it recorded underwater (because it doesn't sound like "water")? In other words, in what environment was it recorded? Did you do computer modulation or serial effects?
OU: This is the sound recorded by connecting the effector on the mixer. Like a fish tank equipped with an oxygen pump, the constant noise at the bottom is my "detector". Of course, I am also part of the "detector" because the noise at the bottom is safe for me, and another sound It becomes the breath of a certain organ of "it", a delayed adjustment.
ZHU: Okay, I understand. Where do you live? Since when did you start using no-input mixer? Do you use this system for performances, or do you do something else? And I would like to ask, do you prefer to put the effects in the feedback chain of the mixer or behind the total output? OU: I am currently in Xi'an most of the time. About a year or two ago, I always put the effects unit in the feedback chain of the mixer, and I used them to amuse myself with headphones when I was alone. I don't want to leave contact information.
